Parkinson's Unity walk in Central Park
The Parkinson’s Unity Walk is the largest single-day grassroots fundraising event in the United States raising funds and awareness for Parkinson’s disease research. A 1.4-mile wheelchair-accessible walk is held every April in New York City’s Central Park. It is more than a walk – it is also a day of community and education! Sponsors and major Parkinson’s disease foundations will have information and resources for the Parkinson’s community. 100% of donations go to research funded by four major U.S. Parkinson’s foundations including The Parkinson’s Foundation.
