A Meeting of the Mind
Nancy Hooper has planned to provide a forum for “A meeting of the mind”, an interactive Care Partner’s support group meeting this Thursday, June 29th at 5:00 pm EST.
The meeting will be based upon questions or topics that some of you have suggested might “enhance our relationships, improve mood, add vitality and inspiration to everyday tasks, and give us strength and motivation to keep improving our roles as Care Partner’s and PwPs”.
You may have surmised that this is not a typical Care Partner’s support group. It is geared toward interaction between the care partner and the Person with Parkinson’s. As such, you are both encouraged to attend this meeting. It is bound to be a motivating factor in your future relationship with your loved one.

Resources for Veterans with Parkinson’s – A Webinar Series
Join us for the first of a four-part veterans webinar series: Resources for Veterans with Parkinson’s.
More than 110,000 veterans with Parkinson’s disease (PD) receive care through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Many U.S. military veterans with PD have access to specialized medical care and financial assistance through the VA. We will explore the resources and support services that are available for veterans through the VA and the Parkinson’s Foundation.
